Manager Deryn Brace conceded it had been a very disappointing second half performance. "Yes there were some missed opportunities but really it was a day to forget. Second half we looked a long way short of what we have produced as of late. There’s no point beating ourselves up about it, on the day we were second best".
"With the run that we’ve been on the score-line obviously makes everybody sit up and take notice. We know where we didn’t perform, and what we did in those areas was silly and basic. So we need to tighten a few things up and we do have to improve massively for the return fixture".
"There were no goals from long throws or anything like that so we can’t blame Leggy! We actually dealt with the corners and long throws very well but unfortunately open crosses we didn’t defend which is why we conceded five goals".
"We should have been 2-0 up in the first few minutes and when we did go behind we pegged it back twice. In the first half it was two sides who couldn’t defend. Second half one side tightened up, unfortunately it wasn’t us".
"I’m disappointed because usually whether we’re in games or not, whether we play well or not, we always go for ninety minutes and I didn’t think we did that today especially in the last twenty-five minutes. We don’t usually give things away like we did today".
"There’s a lot for the boys to go home and think about they don’t usually play that badly so they need to make sure they come back for the return fixture hungry to put it right".
